Home sweet home, I guess. I thought. My new home was a one bedroom apartment. On the downside, I was alone. Yay. I began pacing left and right, wondering what to do. My training to become a state alchemist didn't start until tomarrow. I took a deap breath and left my room. In the hall wasn't all that unique. Randomly, I chose the room across from mine and knocked on the door, "Hello?" I asked, through the door.

A knock from the door threw me off guard while i was attempting to draw a carrot. Walking to the door, I tripped on the carpet. Why can't I afford to replace the carpets that are curling at the ends. I'm not paid enough I thought to myself.
Opening the door, I found a cute girl about my age standing in front of me.
This was a shock as nobody ever comes to see me, often.
"May I help you?" I asked remembering I hadn't brushed my hair in a few days, I threw on a had that was laying on the shelf nearby.

"Hi!" I said. The girl was around my age, and her hair wasn't brushed. Oh well. "I'm Mikki. I just moved in right across from you." I pointed across the hall. "Who are you?" I asked, curiously."

Why did I choose the hat with a penguin beak of all the things.....
"My name is...uh-Kyome. Kyome Kokoro." I replied. Those words sounded like they had no emotion. When was the last time I talked to somebody again?!

"K-Kyome?" I giggled. "Oh, oh never mind." I said, not wanting her to get mad. "It's nothing. Forget about it." I said.
